Name: Viril StarVictor
Race: Elf
Age: 286
Deity: Caeruleum
Class: FireDancer (Spell Sword Variant)
Faction: None
Back Ground:
Viril doesn't have much of a tale to tell. He was once the Captain of The Guard in one of the Tal Savoth cities. He had been bribed to over look the murder of an innocent man, and when he didn't comply his family paid the price. Having nothing, he left, pledging to protect those he held dear. Now a wanderer, he and his sword, Bolt-Bringer, roam the land in search of a place he can settle down.
Being a FireDancer, he wields an enchanted sword, and a magick bow. He can conjour spells through his weapons, but not as a normal mage can. This is an over looked skill, due to the fact that their main source of defense is a cloak of fire that they put upon themselves (hence the name FireDancer). His weakness is that he lacks armor, and that is solely because he needs to be quick on his feet. Idk, if you would consider this a weakness, but he has a high sense of honor when it comes to other Elves being attacked, and he will drop everything to help them.
Name: Arranis "Avenging Sword" Mos-Arrendis
Race: Avariel Elf
Age: 29
Deity: Immunis
Class: Justice of Immunis, previously an Adept Spell Sword
Faction: The Piercing Sight (Worshipers of Immunis: The Lawmaker)
Back Ground:
Arranis as a young child devoted himself to becoming a master of the sword following his family's demise at the hand of raiders hired by rival nobles of the main house in his family, where they left none they found alive in the Mos-Arrendis Estate. He escaped with little beyond his life and his father's sword, an heirloom and proof of his lineage. He later brought about justice for his murdered family by uncovering a plot by the main house of Arrendis to overtake the branch families through nefarious plots along with the truth behind the deaths of his immediate family, and overturning the main house's leadership to a democratic council composed of the heads of each branch family for a time, and the execution of a number from the main house. Arranis keeps few ties or lines of communication to his family any more, as he was approached by a Justice of Immunis immediately following the series of trials he brought about and was inducted into The Piercing Sight as a Spell Sword. Over eight years have passed and he rose at a quick rate to recently become a Justice of Immunis, a wandering bringer of justice to all peoples, and custodian of order. The Justices of Immunis are not recognized by all governments or bodies of law as legitimate, often because they show little to no favor or leniency to anyone who breaks the Immunian Law, whether they are the common folk or corrupt officials of high noble birth. As such, some countries forbid their entrance in their borders, but those countries are not many, as for the most part the different law systems for most countries are loosely or in part based upon the ancient Immunian Law Code. Many countries have a history of assisting Justices of Immunis, but the wider majority simply leave them be unless they end up causing a ruckus by single-handedly tackling a large chain of black market smugglers of slaves, poisons, or any of the various acts forbidden under the Immunian Law. Not all Justices of Immunis are the same, however, as some have seen it fit to allow some breakers of the law to remain as they are in order to use them to track down the larger crooks, and often those more practical Justices will call in local reinforcement or even send word to fellow Justices to assemble. Such assemblies are rare though, as often local authorities are summoned in their stead as a first option taken by Justices or the Justice is killed by either assassins or corrupt local law enforcement in association with the criminals discovered by the Justice of Immunis, though that may lead to an Assembly of Justices as they require an internal investigation of all deaths of Justices of Immunis. That said, Arranis is still considered new within The Piercing Sight, where on average it takes ten years of tutelage under a Justice of Immunis to become one, but it took Arranis only eight years due to his unwavering devotion to seeking out justice galvanizing early on along with his daily regimen of exercise keeping him disciplined and physically fit enough to be officially considered competent and fit to defend himself under the conditions considered normal for a wandering Justice of Immunis, even though he is still a full season shy of reaching the age considered to be of adulthood for an Elf of his kind.
